My idle thoughts on tech startups
About Me
I’m a former Silicon Valley entrepreneur turned East Coast venture capitalist.
I began my career at PayPal as a Product Manager and spent three years there from the early days of the company through our IPO in 2002 and ultimate acquisition by eBay at the end of that year. After that I was one of the co-founders of LinkedIn and served as Director of Corporate Development through the first couple years of the company’s formation and initial VC funding.
My wife and I both have New England family ties so we moved back from California and in early 2005 I joined Point Judith Capital where I’m currently a Principal. I focus on early-stage VC investments in internet and digital media companies. I currently sit on the board of directors of Multiply and FanIQ, and am involved with investments in Sittercity and Music Nation.
